At the Merrimack, we’ve been serving the financial needs of individuals, families and businesses in New Hampshire for more than 150 years. And just like the communities we serve, the accounts and services we offer have evolved and expanded over the years.
On April 6th, we are launching all new checking and savings accounts that you, our customers, have told us you want. The accounts are simplified and provide more value, such as lower fees, more opportunities to earn interest and fewer requirements.
And we are even going to make the process easier for you – we will automatically move you into the new account that most closely matches your current account on April 6th. To be sure that you are comfortable with the change, we will reach out to you by mail in advance. This mailing will highlight the differences between your current account(s) and your new one(s) so you can see the advantages for yourself.
While this does mean there may be a change to your checking and/or savings account type(s), we’ve done our best to ensure that these changes are positive. There will be no impact to your account number, your statement date, or your electronic transfers and payments, and you do not need to order new checks.
