Merrimack County Saving Bank (The Merrimack) invests in community with the expansion of the White Birch Center in Henniker. Working with The Merrimack, White Birch Center secured funding to renovate the Cornerstone Building at 116 Main Street. The new space creates more room for essential services including the Henniker Food Pantry, Henniker Welfare Agent and Family Resource Center.
“It’s been rewarding to work alongside the team at White Birch Center,” said Isaac Davis, VP Commercial Loan Officer at The Merrimack. “We value their commitment to their mission and the communities they serve, and we’re here to support their growth every step of the way.”
White Birch Center launched its Cornerstone Capital Campaign in the spring of 2024 with the goal of raising $3 million dollars to fund the project. With renovations complete, the Cornerstone Building is officially open and will serve as an inclusive community hub supporting children, teens, parents and seniors.

The Merrimack is a steadfast supporter of the White Birch Center contributing $30,000 to their summer camp program and $65,000 toward their expansion project. This investment reflects The Merrimack’s commitment to partnering with organizations that create meaningful impact in the community.
