Merrimack County Savings Bank (The Merrimack) celebrates the 24th Annual Rock’N Race to support Concord Hospital’s Payson Center for Cancer Care. On Wednesday, May 6th, runners and walkers will fill the streets in Downtown Concord to raise funds for cancer patients and their families.
“It’s inspiring to see our community come together for such an important cause,” said Linda Lorden, President of The Merrimack. “We look forward to this event every year and are proud to return as Presenting Sponsor for the 18th year in a row.”
Since 2004, The Merrimack has contributed more than $820,000 to the Rock’N Race. All proceeds from the race go directly to the Payson Center for Cancer Care’s HOPE Resource Center, which provides free programs and support services to patients and their families when they need it most.
“Rock’N Race reflects the community’s support for our friends and neighbors battling cancer,” said Chief Advancement Officer Veronica Rosa. “Last year’s race raised $348,000 to help provide services to over 2,500 new patients at the HOPE Resource Center.”
The race starts at 6:00 PM at the State House. To register or donate, click here.
