Starting on Monday, May 18th, a new Client User ID (ClientUID) registration requirement will take effect for customers using Quicken or QuickBooks with Direct Connect in Online Banking. This security enhancement provides an additional layer of protection to help safeguard your account(s).
Action Required
To ensure uninterrupted service, please log in to Quicken or QuickBooks at least once during the automatic registration period: May 18th – June 26th. This will automatically register your ClientUID and no further action is needed.
If you do not log in during this period, your connection through Quicken or QuickBooks will be unavailable until registration is completed. To register manually beginning June 29th, please follow these steps:
- Log in to Online Banking.
- Under Menu select Services.
- Select Direct Connect MFA.
- Select Generate to start a new authorization window.
- Reconnect your Quicken or QuickBooks application within 15 minutes, then return to Online Banking to submit your ClientUID for registration.
