Merrimack County Savings Bank (The Merrimack) wraps up its Annual Mitten Tree Drive with 2,800 in community donations. The new and handmade mittens, gloves, hats and scarves were delivered to local non-profits to distribute to those in need.
“We’re grateful for the outpour of community support, especially our local knitters that work year-round on donations for our drive,” said Linda Lorden, President of The Merrimack.
For every item collected, The Merrimack pledged $2.00 to community food pantries, amounting to $7,100 in donations distributed to the following organizations:
- Bow Food Pantry
- Friends of Forgotten Children (Concord)
- Henniker Food Pantry
- Hooksett Food Pantry
- Town of Hopkinton/Food Pantry
- Nashua Soup Kitchen and Shelter
- Shepard’s Pantry (Windham)
- Twin Rivers Food Pantry (Franklin)
