Merrimack County Savings Bank (The Merrimack) returns as Event & Rink Sponsor of the 1883 Black Ice Pond Hockey Championships and Winter Festival in Concord. During the weekend of January 23rd, White Park will be transformed into eight rinks for three days of old-school pond hockey.
“The Merrimack is proud to be a longstanding supporter of the Black Ice Tournament and its mission to maintain and expand ice skating and recreational opportunities in the Greater Concord Area,” said Linda Lorden, President of The Merrimack.
Games begin on Thursday, January 22nd with Youth Hockey Night followed by the Pond Hockey Championships on Friday and throughout the weekend. The family-friendly event also includes bonfires, live entertainment, fireworks, concessions and ice sculptures.
