Merrimack County Savings Bank (The Merrimack) announces the appointment of Terrie McQuillen to the Regional Economic Development Center’s Credit Committee. Serving as the Senior Vice President of Credit Administration at The Merrimack, McQuillen assists the non-profit in reviewing small business loan applications and recommending appropriate terms and conditions for each application.
“We are pleased to welcome Terrie to the credit committee,” said Laurel Adams, President of REDC. “Terrie’s extensive experience in commercial credit and loan administration makes her a valuable asset not only to our organization, but communities and our region.”
The Regional Economic Development Center (REDC) offers technical assistance, financing and business development training to new, growing and challenged small businesses in New Hampshire. Comprised of local commercial lending professionals, the REDC Loan Committee is focused on helping small businesses secure funding needed to complete projects leading to job creation in order to promote responsible, sustainable economic development.
“It‘s rewarding to be able to help the REDC and to see the small businesses we’re assisting grow and thrive in the communities we serve,” said McQuillen.
The Merrimack recently showed their support to the REDC with the purchase of $50,000 in tax credits to help expand capital to the NH New Americans Loan Fund which provides assistance to recent immigrants of New Hampshire, allowing them to open or grow their businesses.
