Kelly Wright has joined Merrimack County Savings Bank (the Merrimack) as Marketing Communications Manager. Based in Concord, Wright creates, oversees and implements the Bank’s social media, press and communications strategies.
“We are so happy to welcome Kelly to the team,” said Diana Johnson, Vice President and Marketing Officer at the Merrimack. “Her extensive background in broadcast journalism and media relations have been an incredible asset. I’ve been amazed by how quickly she has picked up on banking communications, given the very short period of time she has been with us so far. She is creative, resourceful and energetic, and she has already fostered meaningful relationships with colleagues and members of the local community alike. I’m excited to watch her flourish with us!”
“I’m thankful to have found my home at the Merrimack,” said Wright. “A mutual savings bank that is 155 years young, the Bank’s commitment to innovation and service has been especially impressive. Stewardship is also taken seriously at the Merrimack, and it feels great to be part of a local company that cares so deeply about enhancing the lives of the people they serve.”
Prior to the Merrimack, Wright oversaw search engine optimization, content development and marketing for an electronic manufacturing firm. She has also spent a number of years as a senior news producer for local television in both NH and Upstate New York, including the NH1 News Network. Wright earned her Bachelor of Science in Television Studies and Broadcast Journalism from Lyndon State College. She resides in Loudon with her family.
